Tony Stark has been one of my favorites since I was a kid, even when he wasn’t that popular I still loved him. Seeing him die made me cry harder than Pepper was. The fact that even Thor and Steve were crying shows what an impact Tony made on the entire galaxy

Thinking about it, the reason they only win in one universe is most likely because the TVA would have erased any other timeline where they would have won, meaning we don't know the true number of universes Strange saw where they actually won in.

Tony surprisingly well held up to the power of the infinity Stones not sure if that was because he built his suit to handle it or if he himself could handle it.

It was this scene what made me had great respect for Tony Stark. iron man.

Tony spent like every one of these movies sacrificing himself, and cap spent each one becoming more selfish, both subverting their supposed flaws they pointed out to each other in the first movie. He definitely would've still sacrificed himself if he knew that's how they win

Dude, this short brought me memories and emotions of back then when we all awaited Marvel films with great anticipation! When I watched this, I went on an emotional rollercoaster... Epic cinema here... When Marvel was peak!

Strange knew this was the perfect timeline because thanos was killed but also stark dies. He knew stark would somehow become doom, an even greater threat.

Well in this case the Doom transition makes sense; a mortal human tasted something his hands were never meant to experience. The power of a god.

I haven't watched any marvel movies after this one. Tony Stark's death in it ruined every other movie for me. Now even returning as Dr. Doom is going to get me back into it.

Always wondered how Thanos never felt the power of every single infinity stone, immediately leaving his body.

Tony’s superpower is adapting and bouncing back stronger every time he loses a fight. You’ll notice that every time he’s in a battle, his next suit comes with built-in countermeasures.

Man.. I didnt break until Pepper came in and she already knew what would happen. There was no urging him to stay awake, no begging someone else for help and no selfish wants being outputted from her at any point about not wanting her husband to die because that would hurt her.

She saw her spouse, sitting there, spent in every sense of the word. She saw a man who’s mind, body and soul were beyond exhaustion.

In his final moments, she did what a wife does. She was his peace. She just told him to rest. She let him know that he’d done enough and didn’t let him see her distressed.. She made every bit of his passing easier on him.

To find love like that.

When you see your loved ones sacrifice save the universe its okay to let go. Plus, she has a daughter and a large nest egg.

Heavily missed the chance to play “Iron Man” by Black Sabbath during this scene

I've come to think that Strange chose one specific scenario in which not only does Thanos lose, but also in which Tony Stark does not become another kind of Doctor Doom. Because once the war against Thanos is over, Tony would be back with his idea of a suit of armour around the world, which would naturally evolve into establishing the full control over the planet. No wonder the actor himself said "New mask, same task".

Makes me wonder if Strange saw the timeline that his doppelganger died to save the world, and was like..."nah".

The arc reactor on Iron man's chest changed from when he spoke with Strange to when he snapped his fingers.

Notice how following IM 2, Tony began to work on ways to get his suit to him quicker.

And every marvel TV show and movie you might have seen after this was just a bad dream.

They should've dropped the mic after this and just took 5 years or so to find this greatness again.

Cried my eyes out first time through. Thats my hero. For so many reasons. Some deeper than i bet Stan imagined.
