Isla Fisher Was Actually Drowning During This Scene! #islafisher #nowyouseeme #movies

Terrifying

I didn't believe this story until I heard her talk about it. I could not conceive that a movie scene this potentially dangerous had no safety precautions, no strict script to follow, no scuba unit for emergency use, just her and a chain that could get stuck. It did. You always plan for any contingency, have known hand signs like across throat etc, and have a suited safety diver just off camera. When things go wrong underwater your breath runs out very fast. I got caught in a fishing line, the hook caught my suit. Far as I know it is still down there.
