it doesnt leave much to think about, its just a moment IN the movie that happens to be the end. "yeah, hes not getting cured" is all that it really leaves you with.
I am glad that it doesnt take place in canon, it would probably make for a boring movie. the closer you get to canon resident evil, the worse of a movie comes out of it. I think it was a FUN movie, and the best re movie to date, (not that thats hard to do...) but with how fun the rest of the movie was, they could have gotten a little more creative with the ending in particular.
He's just a random guy.
This movie reminds me of Outbreak.
Countless people fought hard to survive infection spreading in Raccoon City
All he knew was that there was a child in need of help
Dude should definitely know better by this point, but to be fair he wasn’t the right fit at all for the situation from the start, and that’s what the movie is about, so I wasn’t expecting him to get very far anyway
The Thing is more immediate mind control than body control. RE is a slow burn before the virus or parasite takes over
TWD is a soap opera with zombies as background. Rick and co are the bad guys everywhere they go communities collapse that includes season 1-4
The point is the RE universe is always trying new enemies types. It could be plagas, mold, or other forms of viruses.
This Is The Best Resident Evil movie so far
Felt sorry for the girl
The whole movie felt more like the remake of the Thing than a resident evil movie
Of course. It adds more drama
When it assimilate with you, it could wipe your memory of the action and have you act as normal until it's ready to control and take over.
Like imagine you yourself is being weary of a monster actively hunting you, whilst being blissfully unaware you were already caught
This movie clearly takes place in a different continuity, since the Raccoon City outbreak happened in the 2020s intead of the 1990s. This would've given Umbrella an extra 30 years to perfect the G virus, giving it the ability to spread.
