It was revealed in an Arabic tongue because it addresses those to whom it was initially sent, but today it has been carried to all nations as a universal message. The classical Arabic of the Quran is the preserved utterance that has not fundamentally changed; the dots were placed to regulate diacritics, not to change the words, just as adding vowel marks in any language does not alter the base letter. As for the Quran in heaven, it is 'the Preserved Tablet' which was revealed with its letters and meanings, and on earth we have a single, mutawatir (mass-transmitted) Quran whose meaning does not differ from Indonesia to Morocco, unlike your Gospels which are riddled with thousands of textual variants translated from other than the original language by anonymous authors. As for dialects, they are a natural human evolution for any living language, but they never cancel out the formal, codified mother tongue.
