Guess how he welcomed me?
With open arms!
We had a great time, as if we saw each other yesterday.
So, good friends don't really need to keep in touch all the time, good memories make good bonds
Id wager this is the rings of power
1 billion dollars for THIS
Bad acting
Bad costumes
Bad direction
And it goes against everything Tolkien wanted his created universe to be ...
But if you have read J.R.R. Tolkien's books and/or seen Peter Jackson's films... -For the love of whatever you believe in, don't watch this rubbish.
- Rarutori, Narita Kou
probably this one ?
But elves live for 1000s of years
To an elf, it’s the equivalent of 5 days
In other words they turned Galadriel from a respectable boss into an accurate parody of what a marx feminist does when they assume power, usurp righteousness, and undermine the natural order.
The intent of the production team and investors is transparent enough that people will be at least using it as a future dissertation reference of how communism tried to destroy Christian values in the 21st century… but they will be the only people who watch this drivel, if only to dismantle and mock it.
20 years to me feels like sometime last month, lol!
It's not that 20 years is a lifetime for a dwarf but it's because dwarves cherish every day even though they live up to 200 years. Then he's elf friend wasn't present on most of the major events that happened this past 20years⚠️
Ofc he was pissed at Elrond for not attending the wedding of Durin's oldest child, who at the tender age of 19 decided to marry their demisexual partner, in a beautiful gender neutral ceremony
I'm glad they worked it out 🥲
Even with that being the case the concept of dwarves was still being pulled heavily from the Norse and Germanic mythos. And even if he did intend for them to be an absolute like for like comparison, Semitic peoples are not so dark skinned as to be justifiably cast by a black person.
But again I’m sure Amazon 100% did that purely out of respect for Tolkien potentially wanting the Dwarves to be Jews and not because of the quota.
Dwarves are blacksmiths and builders not miners
