❤😂🎉

He is not a Consigliere anymore, whatever happened there..

You’re out Tom!!

Given all the killinga and other illegal activities he was allowed to take part in after this I have to wonder if like with clemenza and Tessio this was more of a loyalty test then a. Actual thing. Once Tessio is exposed as the traitor both tom and clemenza are deeply involved in the 5 family massacre and wiping our teasio and Carlo.

I don’t remember this scene. Is this AI??

Wasn't tom knocking boots with Connie?😮

"The Godfather 1972"

That made perfect sense like he said who is a better better than his father

Outstanding talents of Taurus😊

😊So handsome!😅

It was wisdom to send Tom to Vegas. He was wasted in New York and they needed someone looking out for their interests in Vegas. That end of the business was getting precarious.

The Don had the power in a velvet glove.
Fatherly. Reassuring Tom that he's still family.

Michael is New York power.
Like an employer firing an employee he doesn't need anymore.
He did not care even with family like Tom.

They are protecting him. Because war times

Jedina istina.😏

I can't disagree more, tom butchered a horse skull and placed in the bed of the producer and in the godfather II he (while acting as don and at least what the movie shows you) killed a prost*tute just to blackmail a politic, tom is no sugar teddy bear he is a ruthless gangster and a lawyer

It upset Vito

This move was so great

It's so Tom has no idea what is going on and with who. It's insurance. Tom will end up being the only person he can trust as he knows nothing. Genius move from Vito(I'm guessing)

Italian way

Strictly business

Tom became arguments/ cavrons def confrontationals now is lawers / last write policy enforcers know def on this..

Sociopath

Why are Godfather's films seen so much is not just a mafia movie, but because it's a turning point in America in an era when it became a capitalist nation, it's definitely a wonderful film🙇💐

It's a film that remains in the past for the last days✨☺️💚

Let's take a look again

🤭🫱🍵

For streaming companies, no cuts are required😞

The best work✨

But Tom was still with Michael when they killed Carlo

perhaps it was this act-Tessio decide to flip

Great scene. But Michael was way too cold. If it wasnt for the genius of Vito, who knows which way it would have went

A change is for reasons

Everyone plotting until the bullets do the real talk haha.

I never thought Michael was qualified for the Godfather position. He is an insecure pampered college brat who just wants to play big huncho.

He got the position by inheritance. His dad worked his way up from stealing household appliances and carpets to sucker shooting neighbors

They should have hired a ready war time Godfather from Italy or Russia, kissed his hand, paid him decently and all off them enjoyed early retirement.

If you raise your son well, you will trust his decisions even if you are not the one taking it, it will feel like it's still you taking it.

Actually in the real mafia world tom would have never been a part of the FAMILY...he isnt ITALIAN

I like that Don Corleone treats Tom like his son.

Michael still blunt and cold in his direction. And vito still warm and comforting although he can be as cold. I'm starting to think Vito had too much of a soft spot for his son to see his failings as a leader. Or maybe he was too impressed by his intelligence and skills. Either way he failed to advise him against his underlying weaknesses.

I wish Tom Hagen was Part 3.

This really hurt Tom but maybe it was for the best!

Someone as valuable as Tom must be protected at all cost. Brilliant move.

PLAUSIBLE DENYABILITY

The behind-the-scenes story of The Godfather is amazing, as well as the script and novels. I encouraged him when I was struggling to find money. My wife's support turned my life around, and I was a strong woman who learned from her failures, and in a way I was touched✨

Thats the example for "keep your friends close, but your enemies closer"

"What's about to happen Mike?" 😳 - Tom
"MASS EXECUTIONS". 💀 - Mike

He was protecting him

Mobiliglieri ✍️✍️✍️✍️✍️

Love the first 2 films

Turns out the Italians running Vegas and the country weren't the people we had to worry about. Who would have noticed?

Michael Corleone was a deeply unhappy man.

Tom was...almost...killed...by the...Turk...before...he...thought...against...it...Michael and Dom Vito was preparing for war against the five families and they didn't want Tom directly involved because he would be greatly needed to help the family after the war was over and the reestablished order of power and expansion was set...😮😮😮...

This was a fantastic move by Michael

Only his daddy could pat him on his chest and touch his face. Lol 🤣 i

Godfather "",,wasnt a movie ,,was the best movie ever,,,also actors❤❤❤

Tom savaşta iyi bir consilere olamazdı

“ ima tell you a couple of tree things..” - Mickey Corleone

❤. ACTOR. LEGENDARY

The only reason the family survived was because of Tom, he was too loyal

Good i dear

GODDAMIT if I had a wartime consigliere, a Sicilian, I wouldnt be in this shape!
-Sonny Corleone

Michael lacked tact

I’ve never seen any of the Godfather’s

This Is not the best film of ever, this Is "THE FILM ",, ITS NOT A " CAPOLAVORO", ITS THE CAPOLAVORO. , THE GODFATHER TRILOGY, W L'ITALIA,

I’m smahtt!!!

Be nice to Tom at all times or you be refused before the offer arrives

YOUR OUT TOM

What great foreshadowing in how Vito comforts Tom while Michael just gives him a cold "You're out Tom". Perfectly foreshadows Fredo's betrayal and the falling apart of the Corleone family

rest in peace.

Measure twice, cut once.

Critical move by Michael Corleone. If not for this decision, Tom's life wouldn't be preserved for the family's more complicated tasks in the future.

Its so if they ever question him , Tom's actually not lying he really didn't know

Rejection is protection

Really, no matter how many times I watch it, it's perfect✨

It was the first film, a hit, and the second film, which is disappointing, but it was three films, and it turned out to be an amazing movie. Alpacino✨💚

It's definitely going to be a movie that will be seen for generations‼️✨

Powerful. 🎉💯

...Who is a better Consigliere than my father...

True! Tom would not be a "wartime consigliere."
Tom was a top notch lawyer and as such his approach was diplomatic through negotiations, rules, and business logic.
Whereas a true wartime consigliere should be ruthless & seasoned violent & street tactics.

The Don & Michael are giving Tom ‘deniable accountability’ for the future! They should have told Tom words to that effect to ease his insecurity and to give him respect!

Hurt his feelings, saved his life. 😊

Tom is not a wartime consigliere. He's not tough enough. Michael needs a tough guy...

Michael got mad after Tom insisted and questioned the decision a second time, even after Vito explained things. Well done by Michael to show authority, even Vito gives him a little slap to concur.
