4 Real Government Experiments That Sound Like Horror Movies

These weren’t movie plots. From unethical medical research to attempts at psychic spying, this countdown examines four disturbing chapters in U.S. government history:

4️⃣ Tuskegee Syphilis Study
3️⃣ Project Stargate
2️⃣ Operation Midnight Climax
1️⃣ MKUltra

Original commentary and explanatory graphics separate documented history from exaggerated claims. Midnight Climax was part of MKUltra, and Stargate did not establish reliable psychic spying.

Some visuals are illustrative recreations—not authentic footage of these programs.
