✅ 5. Playhouse: A Fantastic Pitches winner from a fellow FilmTok creator that delivers a super entertaining indie thriller! 🏠
✅ 4. Resident Evil: Zach Cregger builds an incredible claustrophobic world with top-tier horror set pieces (even if the ending falls flat). 🧟
✅ 3. Vertiginous: Quentin Dupieux’s mind-bending animated short rendered in retro PS1 graphics about characters realizing they're in a simulation! 🎮
✅ 2. Half: My biggest surprise of the fest! A stylish, high-octane South Indian vampire action thriller. 🧛
✅ 1. Wild Horse Nine: Martin McDonagh never misses, and this dark comedy Oscar frontrunner is another very good film from the director! 🐎

Huge thank you to Fantastic Fest for having Cinema Personified on as remote press! For full reviews of all 15 movies I watched, check out my Letterboxd (akarshv) and IMDb (cinemapersonified)! 🍿
