Do the Gods envy humans? #achilles #movies #wisdom #bible

Achilles' iconic line before battle: "The gods envy us because we are mortal. Any moment might be our last. Everything is more beautiful because we're doomed."
We often live as if we have endless time, constantly postponing important conversations, forgiveness, and kind deeds for "someday." But the fact that our time on Earth is limited is precisely what makes every single day invaluable.
Life is a gift that is easy to waste on distractions if we lose sight of its true worth. The question isn't how long we live, but what we build with the time we are given.
Scripture gives us a profound perspective on time:
📖 “Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.” (Psalm 90:12)
Takeaways for today:
1. Stop putting off critical decisions and conversations for tomorrow.
2. Tell the people you love what they mean to you today.
3. Focus on what carries eternal value rather than temporary noise.
