Louis Finds Jessica’s Hidden Action Movies and Tries to Look Like the Heroes | Fresh Off the Boat (

Louis is at a video rental store when Corey tells him that someone in his household used his account to rent several movies the previous week.

The tapes are due back on Tuesday.

Louis has no idea who rented them and immediately asks for the person’s identity.

Corey refuses to reveal the customer’s name or the specific titles because of the store’s privacy rules.

He does, however, criticize the renter’s taste in movies.

Corey jokes that if it were up to him, the tapes would never need to be returned, before reminding Louis that the actual deadline is still Tuesday.

Back at home, Louis searches for the missing tapes.

He eventually finds them hidden underneath the mattress on Jessica’s side of the bed.

The covers feature muscular, shirtless action stars.

Louis is surprised by what he sees and concludes that Jessica has secretly been watching movies starring tough, muscular men.

The scene later jumps to another morning.

Louis appears in front of Jessica without a shirt.

Jessica immediately tells him to put one on.

Louis claims that being shirtless is more comfortable.

Jessica points out that he normally hates going without a shirt and even wears a T-shirt when he goes swimming.

Louis then explains what he is doing.

He says he is trying to present himself more like the action-movie men he believes Jessica enjoys watching.

He directly tells her that he found the videotapes hidden under the mattress.

Jessica denies being an action-movie fan.

She insists that she only watches Denzel Washington movies centered around legal documents and courtroom-related stories.
