الأَرْبِعَاء — al-arbiʿāʾ — Wednesday
الخَمِيس — al-khamīs — Thursday
الجُمْعَة — al-jumʿa — Friday
السَّبْت — as-sabt — Saturday
💡 Sunday to Thursday are named after the numbers 1 to 5: aḥad (one), ithnayn (two), thulāthāʾ (three), arbiʿāʾ (four), khamīs (five).
