Animals Movie Snap Review | Better Than Spike Lee's Highest 2 Lowest?

Sometimes a Netflix movie deserves the big screen. Animals isn't one of them.

Ben Affleck's latest feels more like a TV drama than a theatrical movie, but that isn't necessarily a bad thing.

What surprised me most was how similar it is to Spike Lee's Highest 2 Lowest, starring Denzel Washington. And despite Denzel giving the stronger performance, I actually think Affleck made the better movie.

⭐ 3.5/5 — perfectly decent, but nothing special.
