It's supposed to be Angela Lopez’s peaceful first Mother’s Day 💐👶❤️ as she enjoys an expensive brunch with Wesley’s mother Patrice 🥂🍽️, but the celebration explodes into chaos when armed lovers Jonah Cahill and Monica Ditmar storm the restaurant, fire a warning shot and start robbing every wealthy guest at gunpoint 🔫😱💰—even forcing Patrice to surrender the pearl necklace her late husband gave her 💔📿, prompting Angela to calmly promise that she'll get it back and warn the cocky couple that the next bracelets they wear will be handcuffs 😏🚔⛓️, and after detectives identify them as two frustrated ex-cons who snapped after being humiliated at their jobs 🔍👮‍♀️, Angela and Harper discover that Jonah and Monica have transformed their robbery into a full-blown social-media crime spree 📱🔥, livestreaming themselves as self-proclaimed heroes for every mistreated worker while declaring they're done begging for scraps and are finally 'taking what's theirs' 💵😈—but when the pair rob a bridal shop, steal a wedding dress and tuxedo and decide to get married in the middle of their rampage 👰‍♀️🤵‍♂️💍, Bradford and Chen race to the Church of the Chimes 🚔⛪, where Jonah and Monica have hijacked another couple’s ceremony, threatened the terrified guests and priest, and started exchanging vows while holding everyone at gunpoint 🔫😳❤️, only for police to interrupt the ceremony and trigger a frantic shootout and chase through the church 💥🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️, leaving Jonah badly wounded while he begs his new wife to abandon him and escape before the cops close in 🩸💔, and although Monica manages to flee in her wedding dress and combat boots 👰‍♀️🥾🚨, Angela knows exactly where she'll eventually go—straight to the hospital to find Jonah 🏥🔍—allowing her to ambush the fugitive beside his bed, finally slap those promised handcuffs on her wrists and, most importantly, take back Patrice’s stolen pearls before calmly reminding Monica that Detective Lopez always keeps her promises 😏📿⛓️😂.
