DSA Called It "Apartheid." Arab Parties Just Won the Balance of Power.

In Israel's Oct 27 Knesset election, Arab-led parties (Joint List + Ra'am) won 19 of 120 seats, a record that the Guardian calls "a historic high," and now hold the balance of power. Arab turnout was near 80% according to the Mossawa Center (via CNN), up from 53% last time. Likud claimed "The elections in Israel have been stolen!" AP reported the claim was made without evidence, and Israel's elections committee, police and President Herzog pushed back. Compare that with DSA's Oct 7, 2023 statement: "Today's events are a direct result of Israel's apartheid regime."
