Japanese Movies vs Hollywood — THIS Is What I Prefer | Godzilla Minus Zero

Why do Japanese movies sometimes feel so different from Hollywood?

While reacting to the **GODZILLA MINUS ZERO** trailer, I explain one of the things I enjoy about Japanese filmmaking: the feeling that the story isn't necessarily going to follow the predictable path you expect.

Hollywood often gives audiences a familiar formula — you know what the monster will do, how the heroes will respond, and where the story is heading.

But with GODZILLA MINUS ZERO, I'm genuinely curious about where Takashi Yamazaki is taking this story.

That's what makes this trailer so interesting to me as a filmmaker.
