Dua Al Istiftah 🤲 | Opening Dua Before Surah Al Fatiha | Arabic & English Meaning#shorts

Learn Dua Al-Istiftah, the opening supplication recited at the beginning of Salah, after Takbirat al-Ihram and before reciting Surah Al-Fatiha.

This beautiful Sunnah dua asks Allah to keep us away from our sins and purify us from them, just as a white garment is cleansed of stains.

**Meaning:**
O Allah, keep me far away from my sins as You have kept the East far from the West. O Allah, purify me from my sins as a white garment is purified from stains. O Allah, wash me from my sins with snow, water and hail.

**Hadith Reference:** Sahih al-Bukhari 744 and Sahih Muslim 598.

May Allah forgive our sins, purify our hearts, and accept our Salah. Ameen.
