EMMY BLOTNICK is a stand-up comedian, actor, writer and producer based in New York. She has served as a supervising producer on FX’s comedy series ENGLISH TEACHER and Peacock’s animated series IN THE KNOW, produced by Bandera. Additional writing credits include Mel Brooks's HISTORY OF THE WORLD: PART 2 for Hulu, BUST DOWN for Peacock, and PAUSE WITH SAM JAY for HBO. Her debut comedy album PARTY NIGHTS garnered high praise and critical acclaim. Previously, she wrote for THE LATE SHOW WITH STEPHEN COLBERT, where she had her late night stand-up debut, and she was Head Writer for THE PRESIDENT SHOW on Comedy Central. Her Comedy Central Half Hour premiered in 2018, and she has been featured in the New York Times and as one of Comedy Central’s Comics to Watch.

⁠@faefeatherweightyou’re definitely right. Hey, but that’s what dating is all about, courting, trying to get someone enthused, keeping their interest and involvement, having some romance. It’s been over a decade, and it was my last movie for a date move, but I don’t actually remember why a movie was my decision. We did not have a lot in common, and she was very soft spoken, I recall.
