As someone who has Asperger's (Now called ASD Level 1), this is not a perfect example.
It's actually a really poor example that plays into the stereotypes excessively in a negative way.

People have taken it as him having mental issues and the like, but what before young sheldon came out, what they were trying to do was show sheldon as being from a broken home.
His father was a drunkard, his mother focused too much on religion, his sister was an idiot who was supposedly promiscuous, his brother was abusive, his parents constantly fought, his dad was potentially an abusive drunk, and to add to all of it, it was tossed into the rest of the world at around 14(when he started going to college).
We get snippets here and there, but we also see examples of his family members still caring about him in later seasons, but it's still made clear his homelife led to trauma which caused him to seek the ordered and consistent life he sought out.
Then young sheldon came out and we couldn't portray all of that, so instead it's just a happy jolly sitcom.

You guys didn't watch the show fully , only know about the show from this shorts or reels in social platforms built a opinion about it and Cry in comment sections. If it was made to built hatred towards sheldon that they wouldn't have made another prequel show Young Sheldon which ran for 6 seasons which was also successful btw. Sheldon is the main Charecter in Bbt Universe. People watched the show for Sheldon & Penny. Nobody was watching it for leaonard or howard.
Lastly that is my point . If you don't like the Charecter of the show don't watch it . Don't even watch youtube clips of it and commenting nonsense.

We have a version of Sheldon at our school. He's very strict with his schedule, has memorized alphabets of 7 or 8 languages, and does NOT like change.
Unlike Sheldon, he says things that actually make no sense, because he heard the word or phrase once and just decided to use it.
Like today.
He was a little hyperactive, so I sat down with him and offered a few low-key activities, and then I asked, "What can I getcha?"
He said, "Can you get me a hemorrhoid?"

Then I had to go into the hall cuz I thought I was gonna pee. ๐
