The entire story was the wolf was famous for never getting knocked over
Then the pit bit and never let go, didn't get knocked over just layed down on his stomach ready to die.
Then after saved and moving in with the pilgrim a female wolf comes and he gets knocked over 3 times.
Then they have puppies. Ofc there's way more to it but was a great book. Written from the dogs perspective.
White Fang is a timeless masterpiece
When I first got my last one, (he had done registered name Cloud Thunder Storm or such, I don't remember, he was about 14-16 months old and when I asked the woman who GAVE him to me if she'd ever had a large breed dog, she answered with CHOW CHOW! I busted laughing and told her, 'You got played'), I called him WOO-WOO PUPPY. At that time he was only 120 or so, that's why I asked his age.
Not yet a year and half means he's basically that tall and that long, but she's still got to 22-24 months to be 'Fullgrown', and start bulking up.

Well, because even neutered, the dog in this movie isn't but about the 125 lbs, the St Bernard 140 lbs, and people who fight dogs know it doesn't matter a thing about the dogs, but these were bred by Inuit to drag whale corpses and fight off Timber wolves and Polar Bears and they'd done it long enough and we'll enough that the breed wasn't lupine, but canine and that's centuries too millennia of the dogs surviving those encounters.
