In earlier seasons, when Sheldon pissed off the University President, he sought different avenues of income, one of which included glow-in-the-dark mail-order feminine products.
THAT Sheldon wasn't sexist. This Sheldon, writing in contractual stipulations for menses, IS sexist.

There's a few words for that behavior. Lying, manipulation, and fraud come to mind.
The fact that he applied that hying, manipulation, and fraud for sexist reasons makes it inherently sexist.

It is because they completly changed the plot. In TBBT Sheldon decribes George Sr. as an alcholic, he also says that he was bullied at school and mentions that Billy Sparks was a bully. You do not see any of that in Young Sheldon.

His brother and sister building a fort in the living room and not letting him in, now that we have Young Sheldon sounds different, you might think they were cruel to him w/o context but actually his bro&sis were tired of Sheldon getting everything to work out his way at home with their mom blind support because he is "special", to put it in her own words, and her constant worry for Sheldon but not for them. The writers even add this as something his sister said, is in the script.

I agree that people change, but Sheldon mentions that he wanted to join in the fun as a child. However, Young Sheldon contradicts this. In Young Sheldon, he does not appear to care very much about having fun and foucuses more on extending his academic knowledge.

The only true retcon is Mary's disdain for George after his death, but The point of Young Sheldon as revealed in the last episode was that Sheldon hadn't been a reliable narrator when recanting these moments in TBBT because his perspective had been askewed all these years by other external factors (i.e. Mary & Meemaw, etc. ) or his own immaturity.
Young Sheldon highlighted a lot of these moments as Adult Sledon reveals things in his biography such as convincing himself to think the worst of his father because he never understood him and only held on to his mothers words, or how Billy wasn't really a bully, but that's how child Sheldon saw it at the time being "terrorized" by an older bigger kid, or even his father's affair being his parents simply role playing and him not being astute enough to understand what he saw.
i feel like we, as adults, think its so cringe and immature to just have fun nowadays, youre telling me you wouldnt find it cool and fun to build a fort in your house?
