YES YES YES, we're already smoking in them or at least vaping but I'm not opposed to cigs either. This is actually a million dollar idea for real.

Is it a billion dollar idea? No, like 80% of the US adult pop neither smokes nor vapes. And no one is going to bring their kids to a smoking theater. So even if a theater could get the logistics to work (indoor air and fire regulations, extra ventilation and cleaning), it’ll probably be just one dedicated screen or 2 showing rated R or indie arthouse movies.

I remember when there were ashtrays built into the theater seats. Bad idea and im glad smoking in theaters is a thing of the past.

This could be viable if you allowed cigarettes, vapes, and weed. If you combined those three groups, you might have a large enough customer base to keep theaters running. Most people would still just go to normal theaters.
