The Iran–Arab confrontation could fundamentally reshape the balance of power in the Middle East.

As Iran and Arab states become trapped in a prolonged conflict, Israel may emerge in a stronger strategic position. Fear of Iran could encourage more Arab governments to seek closer security, intelligence and diplomatic cooperation with Israel and the United States.

If a wider war begins, it may continue for years, fragment the Muslim world and weaken regional economies. Iran, Arab countries and ordinary people across the region would bear the greatest cost.

In this power struggle, Israel and the United States may gain greater regional influence—but Iran, the Arab world and Muslim unity could become the real casualties.
