This film was more or less how I discovered DMX and Nas as a kid. I was still discovering rap music, and my only knowledge of DMX was the Eminem song he got featured on titled Go To Sleep (and seeing something vague about it being made for Cradle to the Grave). Then I remember reading a post about the 10-year anniversary for this film in 2008 and seeing the film in my parent's movie collection and gave it a watch. Led to me checking out their music as a result.

Always likes how the film is basically DMX and Nas playing themselves. The cinematography and visuals definitely make the film cool to watch as well.

He probably would’ve known I find it hard to believe $7 million was blown on the first scene, but then again 🤷🏻‍♂️ the Jamaican in this movie the Tiger ring he’s wearing in this movie. Well, I have it in my dresser right now🤷🏻‍♂️ it’s the biggest piece of jewelry I own I’m not a flashy person, but the ring is fucking beautiful two rubies in the eyes 12 diamonds on one side and 12 diamonds on the other side of the face so when you’re looking at it straight on, it’s a tiger’s face with three rows of diamonds on each side of its face and the eyes are glowing red since their rubies… I would never sell it. I’m not even sure what it cost, but I know it’s expensive.
