old age brings forced hardship, as in the psychological terminology of hardship bringing you towards identity founding/stabilization. its no usually for old age, but i would not be surprised if the lives we live, cinema, tiktok, youtube, alcohol, sightseeing, looks and food enthusiasts. its enjoyable but philosophically null/dull if you just enjoy it. with no thoughts, only hardship/change of what you can do will force you to think and calibrate with your origins of thought/emotion/will. this dude has just lived on autopilot since 16, hence emotional and philosophical development of bare minimum instinct creature of childhood is his basis. old age essentially put him on the right path, forcefully/temporally, and restarts from where it stopped- so your brain reopens relevant memory. if you developed a very driven mindset, your past moments related to drive/lack of drive will be remembered and internalized- you will improve.
