@jayboy2kay7Plesse check out an upload on YouTube which is a great example of what I'm talking about.
Please enter - Mom's Busted|Caught (1996). Just check out the colour in this scene!
This tragic 1996 motion picture, entitled "Caught", stars Edward James Olmos. It includes María Conchita Alonso.
Olmos plays an owner of a fish store who takes in a young and charismatic (àla James Dean) homeless man Arie Verveen.
Alonso plays his young wife.

@dirkdiggler2430YouTube

Dave is the perfect example of everything that happened to 2Pac and how his life turned from a rapper to gangster when he was too old and ended up the same way Dave did because of the inexperienced of that gangster life.

If you actually think movies shot on 35mm film didn’t utilize color grading I don’t know what to tell you. I hope you don’t think the movies back then just looked this vibrant straight off the reel.

👍 482026/10/02

@radicalsocionicsYouTube

Realistically, the plan was decent but Dave decided to kill a mob capo instead of rescuing him, and kill his son too.

The basic plan was good, the improvisation in the end was terrible. No wonder mob guys came to murder them both. Capo had other sons and the matter was known to the mob 😂 Dave had to kill all the mob to make this work

👍 42026/10/02

@Payton3434YouTube

Agreed. I think it’s a completely underrated role.

Dave needed to implicate Carlito and he didn’t see it coming. For a streetwise player, he got played. I would’ve told Davey, anything but this. Dave did play Carlito and got him whacked out, if it wasn’t Benny, it would’ve been the Italians.

Those waters are choppy. The gangster breaking out, in his shape, would never make it to the buoy.

👍 12026/10/03

@JC-lj2zqYouTube

Totally agree. I’d go as far to say that I don’t think the film would’ve been the classic that it is if someone else had played that role. Same thing goes for Pacino playing Carlito.

👍 22026/10/03

Wrong subtitles, Dave said he’s cruised the “Sound” as in the Long Island Sound. Not the South

👍 02026/10/04

@Chrime420YouTube

It’s too rough, he’s going to die - said as only Pacino could deliver. He’s the best of the best. DeNiro isn’t even in the same ballpark of acting skill. He just plays the same grumpy ass character in everything. He basically plays himself. Miserable and surly

👍 12026/10/04

👍 02026/10/16

@radicalsocionicsYouTube

@mrjeremyhorn like what kind of john wick skills are needed? Dave is, as stated, an expert boat sailor. He is the right man for the job. That is why mafia contacts him
