Aw, hell yeah. I can’t wait to watch The Shawshank Redemption in 4DX and they actually have a propped hanging person in the middle of the movie.

@-HustleUnion-YouTube

Wtf is 4dx? ...... now I know I want to go

👍 12026/09/29

@boanoah6362YouTube

Depends on the movie, I saw Jurassic World Rebirth (terrible decision, I know) on 4dx and it wasn't bad at all, if anything it was actually kind of fun. On the other hand I went to see Mortal Kombat II on 4dx and it was a nightmare, my ass felt like it took a beating during every single fight scene or moment of action...

Some movies do 4dx very well and others are abysmal nightmares.

@boanoah6362YouTube

The seats are rigged on an armature like a Disney ride so they can move around a little bit to match the film. There's also a scent dispenser, an air pump, a light mist machine, and usually it can sync with the theater lights for lightning and stuff like that.

The Odyssey used it to make the seats slam around while blasting you with mist to match the stormy seas, so you get those clips of people being flung about.

It really depends on the movie how extreme it is.

👍 02026/09/29

@TheYardninjaYouTube

It's like a Universal Dark Ride

@wyldenitesYouTube

Where Northernlion lives, Vancouver BC, Canada, there is a fly-over in 4DX of Canada. You are in a rollercoaster seat, sprayed with mist occasionally smelling salt and pine. That is it, other than that, it is a worse "Trench Run" at Disney

👍 222026/09/29

@wyldenitesYouTube

For real, better be DRIPPING with red, pants absolutely soiled and looks like I shat blood upwards

Went to watch deadpool wolverine in 4dx, couldn't eat my popcorn, stabbed my mouth with my straw trying to drink, couldnt stay in my fucking seat cuz it kept tossing me out of it, sure going once is like yeah that was an experience, definitely not a regular thing, one and done

👍 02026/09/29

👍 22026/09/29

@goodmitchYouTube

4DX seats are fun in a kitsch-y kinda way. Same type fun like big truck stops with funny names. I'd see resident evil. Weapons was crazy in 4DX the scissors car scene had the seat pan with the scissors coming into the shot it was wild lmao

👍 42026/09/29

@nessarollaYouTube

Saw it twice and its SLAPS!!!❤❤❤❤

👍 02026/09/29

@MrvoidPastaYouTube

Nah lowkey sounds kinda fun. Then again, i think i find happiness in being jostled and generally being uncomfortable. I literally go to beaches on yellow and red flag days to get absolutely decimated by the waves. As a 6'1 257 pound Appalachian man, where else am i gonna go to get tossed around like a wet dishrag. Im telling ya, short people got it the best, you get to experience the joy of being small in big world. I pay to get that feeling 😂

👍 12026/09/29

@MrvoidPastaYouTube

Damn, shit is more scathing than a investigatory report 😂

👍 12026/09/30

@emilyg2727YouTube

I like to think 4DX is for those that want to go see a movie just for fun. Doesn't have to be a good movie, but any movie with friends is fun. Nothing is more disruptive than 4DX itself lmao

👍 02026/09/30

@C01xJokerDFreiYouTube

I saw the newest mortal kombat movie in 4dx, for movies that aren't that good it helps to distract and keep you from thinking too hard about it lmao

👍 02026/09/30

@alexxpie_YouTube

its so much fun. avatar the water one was a bad idea lmao but you can turn off the water

👍 12026/09/30

@malikmercado7227YouTube

Dude I get where he’s coming from but it totally depends on the movie, moonfall og movie is dumb but fun in 4dx it was like a ride at universal and made the whole movie beyond worth it

I’m so excited to se Bugonia in 4DX!!!

👍 02026/09/30

@TheBarryCudaYouTube

Camp Snoopy had a ride called the Mystery Mine Ride back in the 90's day and it was just a 4dx experience.

As a 6 year old it ripped dude.

@IanMaxxYouTube

I think 4DX is fun 😢

Made the 4DX mistake once. ONCE. I can without a doubt say it's the absolute worst possible way to watch a movie.

👍 02026/09/30

@SecondsPlzYouTube

Saw top gun maverick in 4D, it was indeed fun

👍 02026/09/30

@SomeFerretYouTube

Ngl that shi does look fun af. Maybe not for a movie where you care about the actual story but for a horror or a thriller movie I feel like it would be a fun experience.

Literally what is "4dx"? This is my first time ever even hearing about it. Also, Zach Cregger is goated. Weapons is my favorite movie of the last decade.

👍 02026/09/30

@thelawrenceshowYouTube

The seats have an interesting… attachment that activates during the laundry scenes.

I went and saw that
I had no idea there was 4DX showikg for it thats so funny
Theres a 1000 questions
Ill start with 1 Did you see part 1 or 2 or both?

👍 22026/09/30

@HolofoilKevYouTube

4DX will at least keep people off of their phones during the movie

👍 52026/09/30

@franklinturtleton6525YouTube

For anyone wondering, the movie is good. It's well shot, the story is good, the acting is great, and there's enjoyable campiness. No spoilers, it's a good time.

👍 02026/09/30

@purplewolfranger22YouTube

Imma be honest watching the Odyssey in 4DX sounds like one hell of a good time.

👍 182026/09/30

4DX movies are a choking hazard for my wife.

👍 32026/09/30

@profilename727YouTube

my dad got us those types of seats for when we watched Project Hail Mary for the first time, all they did was just sway and shake, but it was kinda cool for the flying scenes.

👍 02026/09/30

@d.barrett578YouTube

The new resident evil movie is fantastic aside from the the last 15min min. That whole slapstick routine was lame.

👍 02026/09/30

@CLONE-0AYouTube

Spiderman Brand New Day was meant for 4DX. Saw it in 3D then 4DX - spideysense was WAY cooler in 4DX

👍 12026/09/30

@DNorseMan95YouTube

@TheCoolHandsLucasI don't want to see what would happen during the scene when the sisters get Andy.

👍 42026/09/30

@KeeyytoYouTube

4dx was cool for the Odyssey but that's it.

👍 02026/09/30

@raynjpgYouTube

Drove all the way up to Fresno to see the Odyssey in 4DX. That shit bangs.

My only complaint was that the seats are too firm. Would've been completely fine for an average length movie, but after roughly the halfway point of the movie I was shifting around constantly trying to get more comfortable.

👍 02026/09/30

@raynjpgYouTube

It truly was. I loved it.

👍 22026/09/30

@raynjpgYouTube

Funny comment, but I don't think 4DX does smell. At least, it didn't for the Odyssey when I watched it.

👍 02026/09/30

@raynjpgYouTube

Personally, I didn't feel it took away from the story whatsoever when I watched the Odyssey in 4DX. I definitely wouldn't watch every movie in 4DX, but many seem worth the experience to me.

👍 02026/09/30

@datdamadudeYouTube

It may not be for you, that doesnt make it lame for everyone

👍 02026/09/30

@epicfaceguy759YouTube

While it wasn’t 4DX I saw RE with Cineplex’s D-Box. Basically just a moving rumbling seat that moves with the movie. It was awesome. Made the experience so fun.

👍 22026/09/30

@jeffchicken1YouTube

I don't think anyone said it was a better way, it's just a different way to experience it. Kind of like how you can go to a restaurant and watch somebody cook something perfectly and enjoy your time or you can go to one of Wubby's grill streams where he fucks everything up catastrophically and still have a good time.

👍 02026/09/30

@adrianamarie5326YouTube

👍 02026/09/30

@africanpenguin3282YouTube

Comedy was a little tiring, but it was a fun movie if you just treat it completely non canon and just role with it

👍 02026/09/30

@Rainbowdash143YouTube

I’m hoping that shit is like the opening scene of blade

👍 22026/09/30

@evilmar2363YouTube

@eefle_weefle well I've seen them both already a long time ago but I just wanted to appreciate the dub cast coming back for a rerelease. But i honestly can't remember if I watched both or just the 2nd one. It's the only anime that I like the dub over sub, but they honestly didn't sound as good as the original anime because how long it's been but it's fine. The bumping around was distracting as fuck though lmao

👍 02026/10/01

@ablationerYouTube

Nah it's really lame if you actually like the games

👍 02026/10/01

@NickWit1324YouTube

4dx is much fun. I saw The Fast and the Furious and it worked perfectly for it. The seats should definitely be a little less intense or maybe seat belts or something bc I had to work to stay in my chair
