The movie has started. Nicole Kidman just finished her beautiful speech about the magic of cinema. WHY ARE YOU STILL TALKING?!

There are few things that can ruin a trip to the movie theater faster than someone talking throughout the entire movie, taking phone calls, texting, or otherwise treating the theater like their living room.

In this rant, I’m talking about one of my biggest movie theater pet peeves: people who refuse to maintain basic cinematic etiquette. If you’re one of the people who sits quietly, puts your phone away, and lets everyone around you enjoy the movie, I salute you. 🫡

To my fellow cinephiles: thank you for keeping the theater experience alive.

To everyone who talks through the entire movie…

Please. Shut. Up.

As far as people talking in the movie theater, it something that will never end people will have the desire to say something. If they gonna talk that much, they should consider staying home. People pay money to watch the movie, not hear someone right next you talk about their life story..
