Disney's BIGGEST Missed Opportunity With Wish #movie #animation #disney #wish

First one here in the comments

Second, one here in the comments

idk why im here

I think they did this because they wanted to make it even more kiddish and didn’t wanna make it just about love

I agree i think it would be better as a movie about love

BRO WHAT ANSHA AND THE STARBOY WOULDVE BEEN PEAK

Yet we got this crap instead which is just full of Disney references.

Ok first off it’s not bad it great better then the movie forgotten island

I think the biggest fumble was the writing in general.
The lyrics to the songs are most of the time dogshit
We have so many tropes it’s insane
Way too many obvious references
Asha being an unlikable narcissist
Magnifico being the most WASTED potential of a character
And then everyone else is incredibly forgettable
Genuinely the most bland and yet annoying movie I’ve seen in my 16 years of living

W

The demo version is INCREDIBLY WAY BETTER then the film’s final version it’s my favorite love song bc of how beautifully passionate it was sung and watching the fan animated video by OrbitalMoonRat is why 🩷 highly recommend watching it

my ex literally had a crush on king magnifico 💀😭

if you don't know, the queen was supposed to be a villain too

Not to mention that the villian was poorly made

Honestly I enjoy the songs, the animation is lacking.

Brooo the love story would've been so whimsical and good

If you listen to the demo of the song the lyrics even say "love you as one does" instead of "promise as one does"

They also really needed a marketable plushie to sell for too much

This movie would’ve been better with a love interest. They should’ve stick with the original script and actually make the main actually a straight main villain

Ha! Disney make the worst animated film ever for a 100th year anniversary.

I hated that Magnifico was billed as a "return to form" for Disney villains, only for him to turn evil because Asha was upset she didn't get her way when he had a good reason for why he couldn't just grant every wish.

But they also scrapped the idea that him and wife were BOTH going to be villains and that Amaya would have a cat.

Wish is still a disappointment even after almost three years.

The differences of this is the thanks I get from King Magnifico and hellfire from Judge Claude Frollo is crazy!

Disney executives are just a bunch of idiots who don’t care about anything but money 🤑

Disney, who is FAMOUS FOR ITS LOVE STORIES, should’ve had a love story as its 100 year anniversary 😒

Star boy is so fine in that concept art! AND 2D?! I would definitely watch that

yeah and then you think "so it was supposed to be a love song, but we got it the way we did with Asha and the king guy singing it..." and then you realize that the whole scene is a married man singing a love song with a minor. what are we doing, disney?

Also they took the queen from a scheming villainess to a kinda watered down wife character

...can people stop having expectations for things and just enjoy movies, tv, and media in general as they are and not what we want them to be? Is that REALLY so hard for people nowadays?

All I’ll say is that it was Chapa‘s fault

There was one thing I found hilarious with the villian I heard that Disney say the villian was going to be motr psychotic then Judge Frollo

There one small problem with that it is actually not possible for Disney to make another villian as real then Judge Frollo it was clear that Disney was trying to get people to see the movie

Which failed anyways 😂

Bruh they should have made a 101 dalmations live action 1 year later & not this junk

That’s not- IT’S A LOVE SONG!

I personally loved this movie and I think it was a great idea then again I don’t like love story’s that much

I didn’t even watch it because I knew it was gonna suck

Star boy could have been such a good hear me out bro💔

The one time we actually wanted a love story, since like that's classic Disney behavior, they drop it

WE WERE ROBBED

Also the queen was supposed to be the villain alongside the king.

this is the lesbian space princess of disney

Wish was SO PEAK bro WHAT r yall on abt

i wish disney would do more 2d animation 🥺

It wouldve been so cool if disneys 100th movie was a love story like the earlier movies :[

Boo I wanted a love story it would be so Disney but no!

Im glad ive never seen it!

Also, they apparently wrote the movie around the songs not the songs around the movie so that probably had a massive effect on the overall story.

I think at all cost looked like a men's deodorant commercial

Dude listened to the first 3 lines of at all costs with my eyes closed and i started tearing up they need to remake wish asap 😭😭🥹

It was meant to be in a 2D watercolor style, and I wanted it so badly... They were so cute!

Can someone make a animation with the song on how it’s supposed to be and then title is “Wish as god intended if Disney wasn’t stupid” pls

I liked the movie but when I watch it I cant help but think it’s not finished. To me the animation looks like it’s in its final rough draft where they added color

I genuinely believe wish, like all of their other original movies recently, was made to say "you don't want original movies! We made an original movie and you didn't watch it!" When they're made to be worse than dog shit on purpose.

Also people wanted wish to be a 2d animated movie, but instead they just made some of the background 2d which made the movie look bad before anyone even had a chance to see the writing mistakes

We could have a peak a$$ movie... but they gave us trash... dang. The money they missed out is gonna haunt them 😂😂😂

Im also scared for the new movie. It's probably gonna be trash too.
They changed it's original plot a ton too

I’d like it better to be a love story but there is nothing wrong with the wish we got

I would’ve loved to see 2d animation again

I feel Disney is scared to make love story’s now 😔✌️

I stoped after 5mins of watching that’s how bad it was

God i remember being so excited when they first announced it would be 2d

Ok hate me if u want but I actually love wish but I might be biased since I saw it for my birthday when it came out so it's actually quite special to me 🫶💗 but anyway I love the songs and is it just me that thinks this wish is an amazing song?! 💖

This is soo funny to me cause I shipped those two as the little star and ansha and now I know 5heu were supposed to be lovers

It's sad because (in my opinion) the art style is amazing in wish, it's like they tried to cover up the bad story like with a peak art style

NO I LOVE THAT MOVIE!!!!!!!!

This is literally one of my favorite Disney movies

Yet another reason why I think they need to put it out there for people to vote on they don’t have to listen to it but they def need some help and the viewers have some VERY good opinions

Movie bets part was end credit

WE COULD OF HAD A LOVE STORY????

Descendants would've been better as an 100th anniversary thing
