Tom Cruise's $135 Million Movie Is Heading for Disaster

Tom Cruise's new film Digger, directed by four-time Oscar winner Alejandro Inarritu, opens October 2nd — and critics destroyed it. The New York Post gave it zero stars, the Boston Globe called it the worst movie of Tom Cruise's career, and it sits at just 53 percent on Rotten Tomatoes. Opening weekend tracking collapsed from $30 million to just $8-12 million — a disaster for a $135 million movie. At the London premiere, Cruise showed up with red hair alongside Prince William and Kate Middleton — but even the royals can't save this one. Warner Bros. is now literally begging audiences to "decide for yourself."
