Mary arrived in heaven after her death and was told that she could choose the age she wanted to keep. Mary decided to remain unchanged. They're not skittish they do that because if they've got any sense at all and they will know that the average human cannot be trusted, I have had cats my entire life and I can tell you most of them were either given to me or they were strays for some time that we adopted, their behavior tended to be as follows if they were raised by people they tended to be much more comfortable around people and wouldn't hide but if they were foundlings I eat adopted from wherever they had been beforehand they'd be much more cautious the reason for that was they knew that humans could be very very bad very very mean and very very cruel and so they took precautions to protect themselves the other kind would only protect themselves if they smelled something particular on the human otherwise and I'm telling you this for a fact there were two friends of my father's whose husbands did not like cats and yet the cats in question because they've been raised by humans oftentimes except for the mama cat who gave them a slight birth you know a slight space you know kept a little bit of a distance from them the others would not they would come over and try to put up against their legs they could not tell that these people did not like cats mind you the old gentleman in question did not bother to kick them or do anything to upset them... Which goes to prove two things if you don't do something that is objective to them and it can be even a scent by the way then they will not know that you do not like them, my husband has been cruel before to a particular cat it's just the way he is when he's angry he can be quite abusive both verbally and physically the point is though the that if he's pissed off he knows not to come home because he knows he will not be able to control his temper however if a cat does something to bother him he'll kick the cat and we have one cat that still likes and even though that cat has been kicked his sworn never to do it again and he will walk off rather than taking out his anger on a cat. The point is that cat even though she's technically astray she was raised with the rest of the cat community and she's not the brightest bulb in the room... And she still likes him even after him kicking her she still likes him...
