Stranger things is shipping this week. They got their shipment delayed from their supplier then they were in peru for a month. It arrived while they were away. They announced this today in an Interview

👍 52026/10/01

@donaldP5923YouTube

They are closing shop. Going to finish the preorders they have that they can within the next month or so. But they are looking to sell their inventory or do a mass liquidation sale on site

👍 42026/10/01

@GraveyardVideoYouTube

I was going to order the stranger things set from Arrow in the next few days, I was just going to get the basic Blu-ray set. I'm not sure about the movie room site but I would not be happy with that kind of money and after a few months of paying. Hope you get your set Garrett ✌️

👍 12026/10/01

@vanderhoff66fuYouTube

I've never heard of the movie room until this problem arised

👍 142026/10/01

@vanderhoff66fuYouTube

I'm sure if you contact PayPal or your credit card they're going to refund you if the purchase was not shipped or received

👍 22026/10/01

@cameroncloutierYouTube

A few months ago, I placed an order with them based on another channel's promotion and I got the item pretty quickly. Guess I got lucky.

👍 12026/10/01

@celluloidtherapy5003YouTube

I’ll never understand what possessed them to tell everyone, that they’re orders “aren’t really important.” That displays a true lack of understanding general business practices. The other mystery, is “this isn’t some money-making operation…” HUH? So, it’s a non-profit charity? They charge wholesale, making no profit? Just weird, and doesn’t exactly inspire confidence in them, going forward.

👍 112026/10/01

@Rob-t1v1kYouTube

Ordered from them a few times last year, and every order went through smoothly and fast. Not sure why they tanked so bad. It’s a shame.

👍 02026/10/01

@mg-StapleheadYouTube

That post about it is not a matter of if you will get your order but when, is bullshit. They are counting on you to wait, oh I will get it eventually. Nope. Please don't cancel your order.......so they can scam you.
If you have any outstanding orders with them, do a charge dispute with your bank or you will get ripped off. Guaranteed.

They also had a bunch of fake facebook recommendations on how great and fast the shipping is, just so they can get more orders to rip off more people off.

Garret, there is no limit. Even if paypal has been past the 180 days, you can still do it with your bank. Get on it or you will get ripped off.

👍 12026/10/01

@mg-StapleheadYouTube

I got my refund in 3 days after disputing my charge. It was over 6 months since i had ordered. It simply comes down to them having to prove they shipped the item already or the refund is forced on them. It is not hard.

👍 02026/10/01

@mg-StapleheadYouTube

There was a time they were fine. I had ordered from them a dozen times with no issues. Then it went south. That whole crap about it is not a matter of if but when. You will got order. BS

👍 02026/10/01

@markpugh6808YouTube

Bit off more than they could chew

👍 02026/10/01

@joerazz91YouTube

Damn I guess I’m one of the lucky ones then because I pre ordered Hide and Go Shriek from them on July 22 and it got to my doorstep on August 18

👍 22026/10/01

@jeremyslate4052YouTube

Shades of Horror Movie Empire

👍 22026/10/01

@DaveG4547YouTube

Garrett you better do a charge back. I just watched the video and she said they don't give refunds, only store credit, but that's useless since she also said they are shutting down.

👍 152026/10/01

@moviejunkiejohnYouTube

Stick to orbit Amazon and the trusted ones.

👍 22026/10/01

@superg50zero32YouTube

This was basically 2 people running a business out of their garage and they'd simply got overwhelmed. It didn't help they went on a 3 week vacation and still taking preorders on their website. Their shutting everything down going out of business so hopefully you guys get your orders.

👍 62026/10/01

@luisrizo8813YouTube

(Slow turn to Terror Vision).

👍 12026/10/01

@MendicantsChaliceYouTube

I ordered something in July, and it shipped a couple days later. However, I have an order from February with Terror Vision’s Happy Hell Night on it, and I am getting concerned that my order of multiple items will ever show up. They’ve got tens of thousands in unshipped orders likely

👍 22026/10/01

@NecropsY1YouTube

They gonna scam u

👍 02026/10/01

@NecropsY1YouTube

They are liberal

👍 12026/10/01

@Jennifer-s4w4uYouTube

Hey Garrett, contact your bank. They can dispute the charge.

👍 12026/10/01

@NecropsY1YouTube

Compay will go under

👍 02026/10/01

@NecropsY1YouTube

To quote the terminator, thats what they do , thats all they do

👍 12026/10/01

@NecropsY1YouTube

Them says its not important means ur not getting ur order ever

👍 12026/10/01

@MatthewBoiselleYouTube

Ordered from them...and waited and waited. Finally lodged a complaint with PayPal and got my money back, then 2 days later I got the Blu-Ray in the mail 🤣🤣🤣

👍 12026/10/01

@TeadrinkingninjaYouTube

I got my order 2 weeks ago. Waited about a month to get it

👍 12026/10/01

@ghostface320YouTube

People need to stop ordering from these “companies” that are clearly one person running sh*t out of a basement lol.

👍 12026/10/01

@brandondvorak4301YouTube

In this economy how is anyone buying physical media 😅

👍 22026/10/01

@CoryAlphinYouTube

I've never heard of this site, thank God, but at this point I'd be organizing a class action lawsuit if I had significant money lost to pre-orders or anything else that wasn't fulfilled.

👍 12026/10/01

@DEADPITYouTube

yeah but what good is sueing somebody that has already spent all your money on vacation? LOL

👍 02026/10/01

@DEADPITYouTube

👍 12026/10/01

@DEADPITYouTube

👍 02026/10/01

Its confusing that they announce they're closing yet the site is still up and taking new orders.

Just STOP 🛑 giving your money and business with theses lame companies try to find a legit and loyal company that cares about the customer I go by rules I’ll try it but you screw me over you just lost my business for good no second chances they give excuses and try to make it up with free stuff I’ll tell them no thank you 🙂‍↔️ you should of thought of that before you screwed me over obviously you don’t care about the customer just the money they provide

👍 02026/10/01

@joerazz91YouTube

I can’t believe grown ass adults doesn’t have common sense to shut down your website if you’re going on a long vacation so you don’t get behind on orders! 😂

@twistedcryptidYouTube

Can your credit card company work with you on getting your money back? Or call a lawyer to get the credit back onto your card?

👍 02026/10/02

@austinwillcut4919YouTube

@Born2BeRad I'd just wait a little longer on it, they'll be in deep shit if they don't fulfill these.

👍 02026/10/02

@beyondsourgroundsYouTube

I don't want to add to anyone's panic, but based on the signs I'd be worried. I went through this with a store called "Horror Movie Empire" back in the day. I had bought from them before and I even knew the owner through conventions so I trusted them. First they had "logistical problems" and orders were delayed, but they promised they'd come through with everyone's order and continued selling new products. Then they very quietly went out of business. The owner was a shitbag named Demetrious. He had a baby while all of this was happening and was scared about the financial hole he was digging himself into so he took the money and ran. I was told he wouldn't even go to conventions as a fan anymore because people were sending him death threats over this. I never got my money back or my stuff. But I will say, when I saw multiple youtubers I've never even hearding off really pushing The Movie Room I took that as a sign never to use that store.

👍 12026/10/02

@DEADPITYouTube

I remember stories about Horror Movie Empire back in the day.

👍 02026/10/02

@ryanjacobson2508YouTube

Whenever a business openly admits to being understaffed/overwhelmed etc., run for the hills.

👍 02026/10/03

@wolfhammer88YouTube

Just by the name seems sketchy. Themovieroom. They look like they commit fraud

👍 02026/10/05

@austinwillcut4919YouTube

They weren't bad last year, I preordered a few 4Ks from them and got them swiftly. I don't know why they went to shit so fast.

👍 02026/10/08

@austinwillcut4919YouTube

That's pretty much most of these online independent companies lol, pick your poison.

👍 02026/10/08

@ghostface320YouTube

@austinwillcut4919vote with your money, don’t buy them

👍 02026/10/09

@paulrizoglou4883YouTube

Got lucky with a first order earlier this year and they had the two Imprint John Woo movie sets I wanted, decided to throw in Falling Down 4K which was preorder and now 3 months later no update, 4 emails ignored and owner is speaking to Steelbook Obsessed stating they are basically a Ponzi scheme. Any advice for dealing with Shop/Affirm they have asked me 3 times to upload supporting docs.
