Deku when they tell him “this is a movie” somehow becomes a completely different character. 😭

In the My Hero Academia anime, Izuku Midoriya will risk everything trying to save the person buried inside a villain. But then you watch Deku in the My Hero Academia movies and some of his attacks look absolutely BRUTAL. 💀

From My Hero Academia: World Heroes’ Mission to Deku’s massive United States of World Smash, Movie Deku sometimes feels completely different from the compassionate hero we see fighting Shigaraki.

And somehow, the funniest part is that the My Hero Academia movies are canon—so Anime Deku and Movie Deku are the same guy. 😂🔥

I mean in the movies he doesn’t met villains like Shigiraki, Flect was about to commit genocide just cause he couldn’t turn off his quirk and Dark Might literally was just trying to use All Might’s face to become king of the world cause he saw All Might’s last battle and took it completely the wrong way and Nine was someone who wanted to rule the world and more than willing to kill a child for it while Shigiraki yes was trying to destroy the world but he realized he was made into the monster he was and inside he was still a traumatized child. Deku didn’t have hardly any feelings towards the movie villains cause they were basically evil for the hell of it while Shigiraki was hurt

@Nero-mp4bgYouTube

@TopAnimeScenes2And you know what’s even more devastating? Realizing you lost it all because you simply accepted your fate without making an effort. I’d bet anything that, with enough training, he could have learned to switch his Quirk off—either temporarily or partially.

Deku might lowkey be one of the coldest MC's he even end's up personally killing the final villain no fake out or an attempt to preserve his innocence by having someone else do it, no deku literally kills AFO and Shigaraki all at once.

@patient315YouTube

@josephcirrincone9596that manchester smash near the start could’ve been a murder

👍 42026/10/02

@Mrsmile-by3oiYouTube

You also know what funny. Is that thier world is canonically fucked outside from the Doomsday theory which nobody seems to acknowledge that they will all die bc quirks will become unstable.

The war arc did so much damage to the universe they should not smile at all if we followed it realistically, not only did the League committee mass genocide and in the Manga shigiraki murdered students due to the decay wave, realistically shigiraki ended the lives of a bunch of wildlife driving bunch of national animals to near extinction and due to deku holding back he causes more unnecessary damage to the environment like the old couples farm (what a hero) star use of nuclear missiles not only was unauthorized but also she killed many of the creature's in the ocean and screw up the ecosystem by poisoning the water with radiation outside of the fact that the nuke should send Shockwaves sending tsunamis to the nearest beach (which is japan) the nuclear blast should also emit an EMP whipping out the electronics they the hero's desperately needs which should realistically make the UA Fortress impossible to make sense she already destroyed months of work. Also rip anyone who was on life support Star needed to go out with a bang.

👍 92026/10/02

@Mrsmile-by3oiYouTube

That's just pure favoritism you are willing to ignore shigiraki crimes that are waaay worst than all of them bc of a backstory and what about flect turn who's own quirk makes him unable to touch anybody ? Just ignore that part bc shigiraki is more flushed out ? This isn't justice nor heroism this is hypocrisy.

@ScorchbrandYouTube

Movie Deku always moves like he's got access to 100% of OFA. In the first movie, he matched All Might's punch. And befoe anyone talks about the full gauntlet, the gear may survive, and it may stop his forearm from breaking, but how does it do anything for the upper arm when it doesn't cover that. His arm still should have shattered. In the second movie, Deku became living lightning for half a second, and Bakugo was churning out explosions hot enough to melt stone. Anime Deku could never do that United States of World Smash. Bro tapped into other anime power systems for that

👍 202026/10/03

Well even if they didn't show it I'm pretty sure only nine out of all the movie villains died while shigaraki definitely died

👍 02026/10/05

@GrimReaper-el9dpYouTube

The difference is that he didnt have to take a life. With the other villains he's doing everything to defeat them, but he's not put in a situation where he must kill them unlike Shigaraki. Hence why he does everything to try and save Shigaraki and the helpless child inside. Otherwise he'd have beaten him and helped him later

@Trigger99Xhence why i said "with no consequences."

👍 12026/10/07

@DekufanplaysYouTube

👍 02026/10/08

@HBDiamondVlogsYouTube

I’ll never forget the fact that Deku did not just a double whammy, but a freaking triple whammy on one guy at 150% 😭

👍 02026/10/08

@txoswxn9661YouTube

To be completely honest, deku did try to talk and understand flecturn, however flecturn simply blamed his own quirk for the things that went wrong in his past, completely and utterly deciding that quirks were also a danger to society and that they would become to crazy to control. Deku even says somewhere towards the end of the movie during their fight that maybe if he didn’t give up and kept trying to understand his “reflect” quirk better he could have been someone great. Anywho bing bang boom, untied states of world smash! 😂❤

👍 02026/10/08

@madhav7020YouTube

Like Shigaraki and Doomsday weren't even that different in terms of backstory

But Deku choices to save them were quite the opposite 😂😂

As an oklahoman i like that i got to see both all might and deku use the oklahoma smash at some point (all might used it while they were rescuing bakugo from the league of villains just before his fight with all for one), and i think it's really cool that the oklahoma smash generates a tornado

👍 02026/10/08

@TheRealSonic1991YouTube

👍 12026/10/09

@Nightmare-pl6seYouTube

It's because the villains in the movies don't have a reason for doing what they do, unlike Shigaraki, who was abused while the villain from World Mission saw quirks as a disease all because he was to strong same with Dark Might he took his observation with All Might to far and kidnapped a person for peace at least this is what I believe the reason is.
