Thousands of passengers are celebrating New Year's Eve aboard the massive cruise ship Poseidon when the captain suddenly spots a gigantic wave heading straight toward them.

The crew desperately tries to turn the ship, but it's too late. The enormous wave slams into the Poseidon with incredible force, causing the supposedly unsinkable ship to flip completely upside down.

As survivors struggle to escape through the overturned vessel, Mark and the others search desperately for a missing child trapped on the other side of the ship.

With the ship slowly filling with water and danger surrounding them, they must find a way out before it's too late.
