If anyone knows a movie that had this plot it will be greatly appreciated. I'll try to give as much details as I can remember.
The movie was about a single father and his daughter living together, the father was working but stumbled on a child who got hit by a brick in the head. The father gets caught being mistaken for abusing the body when he was trying to help her and he gets falsely arrested. He enters prison and first had a rough time adjusting but eventually befriended his cellmates. They tried to help the father and also tried to figure out how to convince the court that the father is innocent. I don't know how the movie ends and I'm not even sure what language it was in because it was so long ago.

Gwen’s death has always been one of my favourite deaths in cinema. Obviously it’s tragic, but it is way more realistic than most films. Like people always get saved from falling at the last second, but in reality they’d still die. It’s not like they didn’t land. They just landed in the hero’s arms or whatever, which would still kill them. Gwen didn’t even hit the ground. But she might as well have, because her body experienced all the force of suddenly stopping because of Peter’s web.
