Meanwhile, in "South Park": Welcome to City Wok!

Last Wish eventually made $400+ million worldwide, so I wouldn’t call Forgotten Island a flop at this point. Give it a couple of months to simmer.
Also, Universal is planning to release this on Peacock and Netflix this December. It could go with the KPOP Demon Hunter route also.
I actually enjoyed it. We need more movies like this
For me though, the reason KDH landed with me is because at first I thought it be a stupid parody or low budget kids film with a title like that. I saw Soda Pop on YouTube and was like, "there is no way a movie that put this much production value into a song can be that bad".
Forgotten Island though, to me it has nothing outside of just being another movie in a sea of movies. Maybe if I didn't work much or had more money to spend, I could afford to just go and see a movie for the sake of seeing a movie. But now, a movie really needs to tickle my fancy for me to even humor going to the cinema for it.
You mentioned previously the Who Let The Dogs Out in the trailer, honestly, I don't know what that was about either. Like the trailer is misrepresenting the plot. The trailer makes it sound like the longer they stay, the more they forget. Totally not what it was in the movie.
Is this movie showing only in cinema for 3 days?
