This guy just wants to see a bunch of cgi and could care less about a story. This isn't eye candy for visual addicts like Ryan Reynolds wack version. The cost of these shows are the reason we get 10 episode seasons of tv shows now instead of 20+. Short, over rushed stories where the majority of their budgets are spent on digital assets are destroying what made older shows work so well. I'd rather have them do what they're doing in Lanterns than give us stuff telling some half baked story or constant cgi fights.

in the comix Hal Jordan on multiple occasions does not charge his ring it's his character he's arrogant it's how he knows about the 5% trick in the first place. besides the construct in the 8th episode is not made by the 5% charged ring.. it's made by John as it's his lantern quirk in the comix they even show you him taking the ring off yet the back up Hal is still there... unjustified hate towards a great show

@BadCriticsPodcast thats not really what yall argued it was 5% when it was only 5% for like 1 episode then it was charged and stayed charged for most of the show until close to the end. Talking about "getting around using the constructs" they didnt use low battery for a way to bypass the constructs. Hell john had a constructs up the entire journey to get the lantern without the ring off of concentration alone.

I agree with you, but I think Bryan’s problem was that even when they do have constructs, they aren’t some big thing. He argues in the podcast episode that they only create these very uninteresting constructs with the ring and never anything actually cool.
