Persona is the only "pretentious" movie that Ive watched that I actually think is not a good movie.
Mirror on the other hand is a masterpiece. No other movie is so complex yet so easy to relate to from a personal level.

“Cleo from 5 to 7” for me, easily. Watched it in film class but it just clicked in my mind instantly.

On point with Mirror, would you give Persona another chance?

Solaris. I think the best way to put it is Inception without the action, lol.

I recently watched persona for the first time for a philosophy film class and I’m gonna be honest I didn’t I didn’t understand a thing about it and it’s one of the first films I’ve watched where I had to watch it more than once to really get it. It’s very powerful in its showcase of identity and one I would recommend people try out for themselves
