There are five confusing scenes in Elemental. One shows Wade being absorbed by a yellow sponge that turns blue, suggesting Wade may be made of blue ink instead of ordinary water.
Other odd moments include Brook disappearing suddenly, clothes passing through barriers with elemental beings, a cloud walking in midair, and a wooden spoon appearing out of nowhere beside the lava meatballs.
These strange details look like animation glitches, and the story leaves these unexplained contradictions for viewers to notice.
