Fungus Zombie's Vampire Lick in the Movie

In fungus-driven infections that produce “vampire-like” blood-licking behavior (as in the movie scene where the newly turned doctor/assistant drops to the ground to lap up blood), treat every open wound, blood trail, or fluid spill as an active attractant. The fungus appears to compel the host to seek and consume bodily fluids, which can both nourish it and spread spores or infectious material more efficiently than a simple bite. Seal wounds immediately, clean any blood with strong disinfectant or fire if possible, and never leave fluid evidence behind, doing so can draw additional infected far more reliably than noise or scent alone.
