T2: SKY & NET

T2 continues to age like a $10k bottle of wine 🍷

Should watch T1&2 again. Just realised I've never seen them as an adult.

So topical right now after all

Amazing that the woman that wrote Terminator and The Matrix said that they are one story. John Connor is Neo's dad... That blew me away. Need to watch these movies again.

What do I think Skynet means...good question MMM. I think that you said it best, Skynet represents judgment without any sense of benevolence it's just a cold mechanical judgment that leaves the "human soul" aspect out of the equation. It reminds me of how when we are judging someone for doing wrong, a person might say to the other "have a heart" before making such a drastic judgment. Well, Skynet is artificial intelligence therefore it lacks the human ability to judge with that in mind.

We started watching old movies from the 50's and 60's, creature features and sci-fi, and it's blown us away how this theme (human creations turning on & overpowering their creators) goes back so far. A.i. is just the latest version.

Just made me put on the directors cut

Very gnostic.

SKYNET neural based artificial intelligence equals 438. Stock market equals 438. IS > 13 reduce to 4. RA > 21 reduce to 3. EL > 53 reduce to 8. 438 that's why all theovire they have corporate investors like ALIEN movies.

As in link, too

Great! Today they call it Cloud instead of Sky.
