Kapre are NOT as good as you think! #forgottenisland #dreamworks #movies #animation

The tree people in Forgotten Island are hiding a MUCH darker secret! 🌳👀 These laid-back creatures are based on Filipino mythology, and the real legends are far creepier than they seem.

In this video you'll see:
🌿 Who the Kapre really are in Filipino folklore
🚬 Why these giant creatures are often seen smoking
🌲 How they trick people and trap them in forests
👀 What happens when a human befriends a Kapre
💚 Why they can become unusually attached to people
😨 What the tree people might have wanted from Raissa and Jo

In Forgotten Island, the Kapre seem like harmless, carefree tree people. But in Filipino mythology, they’re known for playing tricks on humans and leading them astray. Their attachment to people can also take a darker turn, making their friendly behavior seem a lot more suspicious.

Could the Kapre have had their own plans for Raissa and Jo? Maybe Manang’s arrival interrupted something far more unsettling than a simple forest adventure. 🌳🖤
