【movie name】：X-Men: The Last Stand (2006)
【summary】：The death of Jean (Famke Janssen) has left a lasting impact on the X-Men, leaving Scott and Wolverine (Hugh Jackman) reeling from the loss. Responsibility for the school now falls to Storm (Halle Berry), Wolverine, and others, as the institute remains a sanctuary where mutants can find a sense of identity. A corporation develops a "cure" derived from the DNA of a mutant child—a treatment capable of neutralizing the X-gene and rendering mutants physically indistinguishable from ordinary humans. The announcement of this cure sparks a fierce reaction within the mutant community; Magneto (Ian McKellen) rallies those who refuse to give up their powers, seeking to violently resist the unfair treatment imposed by human society. Meanwhile, Wolverine and the team discover that Jean is not dead; instead, a dormant, immensely powerful alter ego has awakened within her. With both Professor X (Patrick Stewart) and Magneto vying for her allegiance, Jean emerges as the pivotal figure who will determine the future of the mutant world.

Battaglia??? Massacro!!
Xmen the last stand
But *NO* As It Turned Out,
The Cure Weapon Did Not Turn Out To Be Permanent Nor Forever Lasting.
It Was Revealed At The End Of That Same Sequel Magneto Started To Slowly Regain His Powers Back.
And In A Later Sequel In An Airport With Wolverine And Professor X,
He Got All His Powers Back.
Which Means Everyone Else Did Too.
Even Though They Were Not On Camera To Show It.
Too Many Mutants To Show It In Movie Scenes.
But Reveals That This Cure Was Only Temporary.
For About A Couple Of Weeks.
In the comic, his power came from a gem, hence he's not technically a mutant because technically speaking, mutant contain the mutant x gene
In the movie, he power came from. The mutant x gene like any other mutant. That's why Leech's power works on him
