I Watched Every Sequel Of The X-Men Movies.

But *NO* As It Turned Out,

The Cure Weapon Did Not Turn Out To Be Permanent Nor Forever Lasting.

It Was Revealed At The End Of That Same Sequel Magneto Started To Slowly Regain His Powers Back.

And In A Later Sequel In An Airport With Wolverine And Professor X,

He Got All His Powers Back.

Which Means Everyone Else Did Too.

Even Though They Were Not On Camera To Show It.

Too Many Mutants To Show It In Movie Scenes.

But Reveals That This Cure Was Only Temporary.

For About A Couple Of Weeks.

In the comic, his power came from a gem, hence he's not technically a mutant because technically speaking, mutant contain the mutant x gene

In the movie, he power came from. The mutant x gene like any other mutant. That's why Leech's power works on him
