I dont get the hate for this movie its not bad. Superman acts like superman people just want him to be strong and break lots of shit in fights but superman from the comics is most times not the one who does the fighting most time he just shows up flashes his heat vision and then most people say yeah no fuck this. And the whole superman not wanting to kill the monster pissing people off. Superman has a pet SUN EATER in the comics. Let me say that agian he has a monster thats capable of consuming a SUN as a pet. Superman doesnt just beat the shit out of everything and he definitely doesnt kill. And those saying this is the worse superman movie maybe you should read the comics and i dont mean the Injustice comics. You would see that Superman 2025 is the most comic acurate superman movie. He saves people kills nobody even saves a freaking squirrel. Has the world turn against him and still he saves them. Cause superman is a hero not a murdering vigilante like Snyder made him look in man of steel and Batman v Superman. P.S if you say this movie is the worst superman movie ever then that means you by default think Lex from batman v superman is better and that makes your opinion void to me.

I think most of the hate comes from how the characters are portrayed. I agree with you that’s it’s super accurate and I’m loving them follow the comics but some people struggle to recognize that’s he’s just starting out. And the humor might not hit for every one. It’s way more kid friendly and positive than the Snyder stuff. Also the social commentary might have something to do with it

They both are irritatin, especially Superman. Lois was still good. Superman in this movie acts like a typical Gen Z with unnecessary attitude and behaviour viz immaturity, no control over conduct or feelings and emotions, overly dramatic in everything. We are supposed to look up to Superman and get inspired. In didn't like Snyder universe as well but Henry was still better. Had class and depth.
The Christopher Reeve Superman or the Justice League versions were so much better.

Uhura trying to read the riot act to Spock while in transit to an away mission. Second star trek. So out of place Kirk had to ask her/them if now was the appropriate time to do this.
