I love how I watch movies with my parents, we sit in silence in a dark room just staring at the TV for an hour and a half with no more than 8 sentences said to each other throughout, and then we end up talking about the movie for 45 minutes after it ends. I feel like that's a perfect way to watch movies with another person

personally i have fun when the movie says something that references something else and i tell that to my friend next to me. I don’t see how other people get so infuriated over someone talking when all they do is whisper something to their friend every 5-10 minutes

i personally like to pause and discuss with those around me, and whenever a character is stupid we yell at them lol, i love to talk and analyze things so its my preffered method, but if its sad i can also just sit in silence and cry lol (dead poets society, cried for three hours)
