0 views · 2026/10/15
On October twenty-ninth, nineteen forty-eight, during the Arab-Israeli conflict, the Israel Defense Forces captured the Palestinian Arab village of Safsaf in the Galilee. The village was defended by the Arab Liberation Army's Second Yarmuk Battalion. Following the capture of the village, historical records document that between fifty-two and sixty-four villagers were massacred by the IDF. This event remains part of the complex history surrounding Palestinian refugees, borders, and security within the former territory of Mandatory Palestine.
