Hulk is my favorite marvel universe movie and only because it feels like a stand alone, not tied to anything else marvel movie

Yea it’s just so different. And I love how the Bruce is so desperate to get rid of the hulk. I will never understand the hate for this movie

Iron man 3 and “GoG” but you meant GOTG vol.2, are not bad enough movies to be removed. Iron Man 2 is infinitely less interesting, and there’s no way you keep Quantumania or Eternals over them.

Plus even though he goes back on that ending moment, the fact that he’s so conflicted and keeps changing his mind becomes an important part of his character in Infinity War and Endgame. We know that he’s been wanting to do something like how he lived with his family during the blip for a long time, because of Iron Man 3.

@izzytheartist4710Yeah. Rhodey being a Skrull calls into question if he was in Civil War or any of the final battles in Wakanda or Avengers: HeadQuarters in UpState New York. I’d love if Punisher got The War Machine Armor and him being way OP and then the only way they stop Frank is from Soldier-To-Soldier, Rhodey simply asks for the suit back since Frank respects his fellow servicemembers

great movie, prob top 15 MCU to me... He's 100% correct though, Tony's character arc feels undone immediately when Age Of Ultron starts

So if you gotta skip one to watch the rest it does have a pretty minimal impact on the greater MCU

- Tony's PTSD/anxiety attacks mysteriously disappear at the end and are never brought up again despite being a huge part of his character in that movie
- Pepper Potts getting superhuman abilities and then never having it brought up again
- Tony destroys his suits supposedly as a "turning point"...then just gets new ones in Age of Ultron
- Wtf ever happened with the kid he met? They spent a good chunk of time in the 2nd half and then they act like he never existed

@The--Mainbro you are tripping. The villain is terrible, the twist isn’t really that funny or exciting, the suits are destroyed like tissue paper unless Tony is in them, and the whole plot is really boring and slow

I think they’re referring to what film is not really important to the overall story of the MCU.

if Tony's succesor was the kid from Iron Man 3 instead of Riri it would be way more relevant as a passing of the torch kinda thing. Not a bad movie but I would have liked to see Ben Kingsley as a true Mandarin with all the theatrics.

@KalenrelAt the same time if you take Iron Man 1 into consideration it did the exact same thing Hulk did. After the “I am Iron Man” scene the post credit scene does the exact same thing showing Nick Fury talk about being part of a larger world yada yada. It’s almost an identical situation to Tony showing up to talk to Ross in the post credits of Incredible Hulk. So I’m sorry I will have to agree to disagree when you say the Incredible Hulk is “mid” just based off that argument. Doesn’t really hold up when all the other heroes quite literally did the exact same thing for their first feature debut film.
