Hollywood stores old film archives, The Wizard of Oz included, 650 feet down in a salt mine in Hutchinson, Kansas. That salt is what's left of a sea that dried up 275 million years ago. Gneiss watched it happen. The full video has the day a salt mine hid Germany's gold.
