Ray Breslin (Sylvester Stallone) is a top escape artist who tests prison security by breaking out of them. Hired to infiltrate a secret, ultra-secure black-site prison called "The Tomb," he is betrayed and imprisoned in a facility he himself helped design. To escape and seek revenge, he must team up with a mysterious inmate named Emil (Arnold Schwarzenegger) to orchestrate a nearly impossible breakout.
