RUN, BABY, RUN! Because these are NOT your slow-moving, stumbling-around-the-cemetery kind of zombies! 😱🩸

As a HUGE zombie movie fan, I absolutely LOVE a good zombie apocalypse, and 28 Days Later (2002) is one of those movies that genuinely scared me! The direction, the atmosphere, the intensity, and the way this film makes you feel like the world has completely fallen apart? They did an AMAZING job! This movie brought a different kind of terror to the zombie genre, and those infected RUNNERS? Honey, you better have your cardio together because you are NOT getting away from them! 🏃🏾‍♂️💀

Now, let’s talk about the franchise! Shout-out to 28 Weeks Later for continuing the nightmare, but when we get to 28 Years Later, I have to be honest: some of the creative choices took me OUT of the horror experience! 😭😂 That prosthetic situation? BABY, WHAT ARE WE DOING?! I felt like the movie started leaning too far into comedy instead of sticking with the terrifying atmosphere that made this franchise so effective in the first place.

Sometimes, when you have a formula that WORKS, you don’t need to stray too far from it! Give me the fear, the tension, the chaos, and the feeling that humanity could collapse at any moment!
